An investigation has been launched into video footage of a uniformed police officer performing stunts on a moped believed to have been seized from a suspected criminal.
The on-duty officer, filmed by his laughing colleagues, is seen falling off the scooter as he performs a 360-degree "doughnut" turn on a public footpath, in the clip posted on the YouTube website.
The officer, believed to be a PC from Humberside Police, is wearing a pair of forensic examination gloves as he rides the blue moped - understood to have been recovered in a criminal inquiry.
During the minute-long clip he clambers back on to the bike after his fall and zooms off as fellow officers laugh.
Lets just be thankful that the quality of criminals and the quality of police officers are BOTH in decline !
