Where can I get cheap motorcycle gear?
I'll be getting a bike late this month most likely a cruiser but certain sport bikes are on the list since they are cheaper. I'm just trying see if there is any sites or places I should check out for equipment? I live in northern NJ.
St. Vincent stores have leathers at times cheap- $10.00 to $20.00. I got leather pants, boots and jacket for student rider about $20.00 total. One of my riding jackets in XXL was about $8.00, warm, fits and fits rat bike look of old chopper and rough Goldwing. Helmets ? that I check cycle shop- the Hondaline full face was 1/2 price mid season from Honda dealer when I bought a tire. Gloves I buy welding gauntlets from farm store or Harbor freight- $6.00. Cheap gear is available, style may not be current but usability, utility are more important than colors and trim. After 40 years riding flash style is minimal concern
