Circumferential Body Lift Surgeon Brian Olack Helps Formerly Obese
Dr. Brian Olack, is developing a national and international base of new patients requesting the circumferential body lift as gastric bypass procedures increase dramatically. While health drives most obese people to the gastric bypass or lap-band, the surgeons who perform that procedure, often laparascopically, have patients who are committed to their health and physical attractiveness. This is where Dr. Olack serves a unique role in the total healing, self-image, and self-esteem of those formerly obese patients.
According to Dr. Brian Olack, the leading plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Scottsdale, Arizona, "Circumferential Body Lifts are essential for those who have lost more than 100 pounds. Massive weight loss, while extremely beneficial for overall health, can leave behind large amounts of excess skin. This is not only unsightly, but also can be a setup for pain and problematic rashes. There are many different options available for contouring these areas of excess skin, and circumferential body lift is a very powerful tool. It is beneficial for patients who have lost very large amounts of weight, because in these patients the skin tends to hang completely around the torso. A standard abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, only addresses the abdomen and can still leave large amounts of skin on the flanks and low back. A circumferential lower body lift allows for the abdomen, flanks, and back to be lifted and recontoured."
One of Olack's patients is a 49 year old man who recently lost 130 pounds and reported, "I didn't work so hard to get healthy, look and feel this good, to allow the excess skin to remain as unsightly reminder of my days as an obese man. Dr. Olack understood how important it was for me to complete this part of my weight loss and performed a circumferential body lift procedure at the end of March. I'm amazed how well I have healed and am grateful that Dr. Olack is a real expert in this procedure."

Using a weightlifting belt in discus?
I'm a very keen discus thrower and hold many regional records at the age of 15. I'm not here to brag I'm looking for guidance. I currently own a weight lifting belt and I've seen a small number of some athletes wearing one. My question is, Is there any gain from it? Is it worth me throwing with one to see if it helps? is there a disadvantage? or is it for injuries? Any help will be appreciated, Thanks you.
The back bones require support, when doing sport of this type and throwing a discus regularly, will cause injuries to the lower back bones, so if your serious about discus throwing, use a belt.
